Project Maestros provides an array of professional development seminars for pre-service teachers through the C3: Culture, Community, Communication professional development certificate. Students who complete a minimum of eight seminars are eligible to receive the C3 certificate. Students who complete the program will receive an official certificate and the award can be transcribed for sharing with potential employers.
Certificate Program
The purpose of the C3: Culture, Community, Communication Educator Credential Certificate is to provide pre-service teachers with additional opportunities to acquire transferable skills that will supplement what is learned in the classroom.

Learning Opportunities
Seminar topics include cultural fluency, mental health, employment preparation, community-building, communication, and more! Seminars are provided in collaboration with Texas State faculty and staff, local school districts, and non-profit organizations with specialized expertise.
