Each spring semester, the P.A.S.S. (Partners in Academic Student Success) program focuses on a specific group of students facing a common set of challenges. This spring 2018 semester, the University College Advising Center's P.A.S.S. program assisted University College students who had been readmitted for spring 2018 after stopping out for one or more semesters, and who were on academic probation or continued academic probation. During P.A.S.S. appointments, our advising discussions helped students:

  • Calculate grades needed to return to good academic standing
  • Identify solutions for potential graduation obstacles
  • Maintain a proactive approach to academic achievements
  • Draft goals to support academic and personal success
  • Plan for successful future semesters
  • Select courses to apply to long-term degree goals
